Feature on the Medicinal Cannabis Industry

Medical Officer Dr. Jason Young and Drug Inspector, INCB Liaison Fiona Dennie- Pierre of the Medicinal Cannabis Authority (MCA) were both guests on the weekly ‘Round Table Talk (RTT)’ programme aired on VC3 on Thursday August 13, 2020. The pair discussed aspects of ‘Patient Access to Medicinal Cannabis’. In an effort to further educate and inform Vincentians and visitors alike, they divulged a list of qualifying medical conditions which can be treated with Medicinal Cannabis.
Additionally, plans to further develop the Medicinal Cannabis Industry in SVG were discussed as well as the importance to develop and manufacture local medicinal cannabis products with plans to export.
